Bite the Rot is a Southern Gothic short that examines the visceral hunger for creation rooted in sacred land carrying the memory of every woman who has bled, labored, and borne life upon it. The story follows a young woman whose desire for creation descends into ritualistic acts of fertility, exposing the raw intersections of love, bodily autonomy, and womanhood through sacrifice, poetry, and life.
