Anil Surinder Kapoor (born 24 December 1956) is an Indian actor and producer who works primarily in Hindi films, in addition to Indian television and international films. Kapoor made his debut in films in the 70s. Kapoor's first role in an international film was in Danny Boyle's Academy Award-winning film Slumdog Millionaire (2008), for which he shared the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. In Bollywood he is best known for his roles in Beta (1992) and Dil Dhadakne Do (2015).
