Antonio Dechent is a Spanish actor born on 16 February 1960 in Seville. After studying psychology, he chose to pursue acting and trained at the Seville Theatre Institute. He made his film debut in Las dos orillas in 1987 and became known primarily for supporting roles in Spanish film, television and theatre. His notable credits include Solas, Intacto, Smoking Room, 7 Virgins, Alatriste and The Sleeping Voice. He received a Goya Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Intacto.
