Chris Peters is a British art director. He began his screen industry career as an art department trainee on Les Misérables (2012) before progressing through a range of art department roles, including art department assistant, draughtsman, junior draughtsman, assistant art director, and art director. His early credits include Endeavour (2012), Call the Midwife (2012), Muppets Most Wanted (2014), The Quiet Ones (2014), Victor Frankenstein (2015), and The Tunnel (2013). As an assistant art director, Peters worked on The Lost City of Z (2016), Criminal (2016), Overlord (2018), Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (2019), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), The Old Guard (2020), and The King's Man (2021). He also worked as a draughtsman on Wes Anderson's animated feature Isle of Dogs (2018). Peters advanced to the position of Art Director on Phantom Thread (2017), Hunter Killer (2018), The Hustle (2019), Halo (2022), Jurassic World: Dominion (2022), The Marvels (2023), Wicked (2024), Jay Kelly (2025), Wicked: For Good (2025) and Avengers: Doomsday (2026). His work on Wicked (2024) was recognisedrecognised by the Art Directors Guild, which awarded the production the 2025 Excellence in Production Design Award for Fantasy Film, an honour shared by Peters and the production design team. He also received a 2026 Art Directors Guild Award nomination for Excellence in Production Design in the Fantasy Feature Film category for Wicked: For Good (2025), shared with the film's production design team.
