Khagendra Lamichhane (born 1988) is a celebrated Nepalese theater personality, actor, screenwriter, and director who has become a household name in Nepali cinema. Born in the Syangja district of Nepal, he began his journey in the performing arts in 1999, eventually moving to Kathmandu to pursue higher education at Tribhuvan University and advance his career in theater. He achieved widespread national prominence for writing and starring in critically and commercially acclaimed feature films like Talakjung vs Tulke, and the blockbuster hit Pashupati Prasad. Beyond his iconic film roles, Lamichhane is an accomplished playwright and director who has staged multiple modern theater classics at both national and international festivals. He is also an authored writer with published books, the chairperson of Tukee Arts, and has collaborated extensively as a producer and writer with international organizations like BBC Media Action.
