Shah Rukh Khan, widely known as SRK, "King Khan," and the "King of Bollywood," is an Indian actor, film producer, entrepreneur, television personality, philanthropist, and one of the most influential figures in world cinema. He is widely regarded as one of the most internationally recognized and commercially successful actors in the history of Indian cinema. Born in New Delhi, India, Khan studied at Hansraj College, University of Delhi, received theatre training under Barry John, and later pursued Mass Communication at Jamia Millia Islamia. During his college years, he actively participated in stage productions, laying the foundation for his acting career. He made his television acting debut with *Fauji* (1988), followed by *Circus* (1989). Following the deaths of his father in 1980 and his mother in 1991, Khan relocated to Mumbai to pursue acting professionally. He is also the co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise in the Indian Premier League.
